Synergy is an international twinning initiative jointly organized by the Leo Club of IIT and the Leo Club of Dipu Aspire, focusing on raising awareness about Diabetes Mellitus. Recognizing the increasing prevalence of diabetes and its long-term impact on communities, the project was designed to educate individuals on prevention, early detection, and healthy lifestyle practices. Conducted as a virtual session, Synergy brought together medical professionals and participants from Sri Lanka and India, creating a platform for knowledge sharing and cross-border collaboration. The initiative not only addressed an important public health concern but also strengthened international fellowship, leadership, and service among Leos.

As the second phase of Synergy, the international twinning initiative jointly organized by the Leo Club of IIT and the Leo Club of Dipu Aspire, this project focused on transforming awareness into action through direct community engagement. Conducted on 16th April at Nagoda Sri Vijitharamaya, in collaboration with the Bulathsinhala Divisional Hospital – Yowun Piyasa volunteer team, the initiative provided free diabetes screening for adults in the surrounding community.
