Leo Club of IIT Powers Up with “Sip n’ Support” and “Taste n’ Support” at Annual Sports Meet
As part of the ongoing POWER UP fundraising series, the Leo Club of IIT proudly organized POWER UP – Sip n’ Support 2025, held in parallel with Taste n’ Support, at the university’s annual sports meet on July 20ᵗʰ, 2025, at Club Fusion, IIT.
These dual fundraising stalls were designed not only to fuel the crowd with refreshing beverages and fiery bites, but also to raise vital funds that will directly support the club’s upcoming service projects and outreach initiatives. From ice-cold mojitos to mouth-watering snacks, every purchase contributed to a greater purpose — turning flavor into fuel for social impact.
The initiative served multiple goals:
- Fundraising for Projects
Revenue generated will support community outreach, youth development, and sustainability-focused programs led by the club. - Wellness Promotion at Events
Providing hydrating drinks during the energetic sports meet promoted healthier choices, refreshing participants and adding value to the experience. - Club Visibility and Branding
Bright, branded stalls and the enthusiastic presence of Leo volunteers captured attention and increased awareness of the club’s mission and spirit. - Volunteer Leadership Opportunities
Members took on real responsibilities, managing finance, logistics, and promotion—gaining essential event planning and leadership skills.
This POWER UP project had a strong impact across multiple dimensions:
- Financial Impact: Raised funds that are now allocated to upcoming impactful projects.

With football energy on the field and vibrant energy at the stalls, the event not only satisfied cravings but also brought the student community together in support of service and social change. The Leo Club of IIT once again proved how passion, planning, and purpose can blend into a refreshing formula for success.
