Leo Club of IIT – General Meeting | September 2025

The Leo Club of IIT successfully held its General Meeting for the month of September on the 26ᵗʰ of September 2025 at GP Square, IIT. The evening began with the National Anthem, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the National Flag and the Leo Pledge, creating a spirit of pride and unity among the members.
The meeting featured presentations by the Secretary and Treasurer, who highlighted the progress of projects and the active engagement of members throughout the month. Notable achievements included Project Sneha, Project Timeless Care, and the inspiring international collaboration, Project Global Leo Leadathon, carried out with the Leo Club of Panvel (India).
The gathering was graced by the presence of distinguished Leo leaders:
- Guest of Honor – Leo Lion Thenukshan, Multiple District Assistant Secretary, Leo Multiple District 306 Sri Lanka & Maldives
- Chief Guest – Leo Lion Malinda Ganewatta, Past District President, Leo District 306 A1
- Special Guest – Leo Sanjana Fernando, Zonal Director – Zone A2, Leo District 306 D1
The Guest of Honor expressed deep appreciation for the club’s efforts during September and especially commended the successful execution of Project Sneha, Project Timeless Care, and Project Global Leo Leadathon. He further shared inspiring insights about the true essence of Leoism and the values members can carry into their lives.
The Chief Guest also echoed these sentiments, reminding members that Leoism is more than service, it is an opportunity to challenge oneself, go beyond personal limits, and grow as leaders and individuals.The Special Guest extended her warm wishes to the club, encouraging members to keep up their strong momentum and continue making an impact in the months ahead.
The meeting concluded with the Vote of Thanks by the club secretary, marking it as an inspiring evening of mentorship, recognition, and the Leo spirit in action.
With renewed energy and unity, the Leo Club of IIT looks ahead to the rest of the year with determination to serve, collaborate, and achieve even greater milestones.
