The Leo Club of IIT proudly hosted its first General Meeting of the Leostic year on the 25ᵗʰ of July 2025, held at GP Square. It was an evening that reflected unity, vision, and leadership – marking a vibrant beginning to another impactful year of service.
The meeting began promptly with the National Anthem and the Leo Pledge, setting a respectful and passionate tone. Attendees witnessed a structured and engaging agenda, starting with welcome remarks and official reports presented by the Secretary and Treasurer.
We were honored to have been graced by the presence of distinguished Leo leaders:
- Chief Guest: Leo Sanduni Theekshana – District Secretary, Leo District 306 D1
- Guest of Honor: Leo Manish Perera – Assistant Treasurer, Multiple District 306 Sri Lanka and Maldives
- Special Guest: Leo Sanjana Fernando – Zonal Director – Zone A2, Leo District 306 D1
Each of our guests delivered inspirational speeches that reminded all present of the importance of commitment, growth, and collaboration within the Leo movement. The President’s address reflected the club’s vision for the coming year, while the Open Forum invited active member participation and fresh ideas.
The evening concluded with impactful remarks by the Leo Club Advisor and a warm Vote of Thanks, acknowledging all contributors and guests.
This meeting was not just an agenda—it was a shared moment of motivation, mentorship, and meaningful dialogue. Here’s to building stronger bonds and driving change—together as one Leo family.
