The Leo Club of IIT successfully launched Phase 01 of Empower Her on the 28th of September at the ANC Auditorium, a self-defense awareness and training initiative designed to inspire confidence and resilience among young women. With the belief that every girl has the right to feel safe and empowered, this project marks a strong beginning to a journey of strength and self-belief.

Through engaging sessions, participants were introduced to essential self-defense techniques and real-life scenarios where these skills could make a difference. The training not only focused on physical defense but also on building mental strength, awareness, and the courage to face challenges fearlessly.

We were privileged to have the ANC STEM Society as one of our resource partners and the guest lecturing team from SNM, led by Mr. Abeetha Ruwanjith, Founder of the SNM Combat System, who shared his expertise in practical and modern self-defense. Their guidance played a vital role in making this phase impactful and empowering.

With Phase 01 completed, we are one step closer to our mission of creating a safer and more empowered society for women. The Leo Club of IIT remains committed to carrying this initiative forward, ensuring that every phase continues to spark confidence, protection, and empowerment.
