Empowered Through Leadership – Our Experience at Alpha One

On the 13th of July 2025, the Leo Club of IIT had the incredible opportunity to attend the Alpha One – Onsite Session held at Princess of Wales’ College, Moratuwa. Organized as a key leadership development program by Leo District 306 D1, this full-day event was specifically designed to empower club officers with the skills, knowledge, and motivation to lead their clubs effectively throughout the term.

From 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, our team participated in a range of insightful sessions and interactive workshops that focused on leadership, communication, team management, and strategic planning. The program was not only educational but also highly engaging, allowing us to network with fellow Leo leaders from other clubs and exchange ideas and experiences.

We returned from the event feeling inspired, informed, and energized to take our club activities to new heights. The knowledge and leadership tools we gained will undoubtedly help us create more impactful service initiatives in the months ahead.
