5th Installation Ceremony Of LEO Club of IIT

The Leo Club of Informatics Insitute OF Technology proudly held its Installation Ceremony on 17th July at GP Square Auditorium, marking the beginning of a new journey for the board of 2025/26. The event was attended by distinguished guests, fellow Leos, Lions, parents, and well-wishers, celebrating leadership, youth empowerment, and service.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of our Chief Guest, Leo Yashika Rodrigo, District President – Leo District 306 D1, whose inspiring speech highlighted the importance of youth leadership in today’s world. Also present were several dignitaries from Lions and Leo District 306 D1, who shared their words of encouragement and support.

The event began with the lighting of the traditional oil lamp, symbolizing wisdom and hope. Following that, the outgoing board presented a heartfelt reflection on the accomplishments of the past year. Their dedication was acknowledged with tokens of appreciation and warm applause from the audience.

A key highlight of the evening was the official launch of the Leo Club of IIT’s official website, unveiled by the Chief Guest. This milestone marks the club’s digital leap forward, aiming to connect better with the community, showcase projects, and open up new opportunities for youth engagement.

Another significant moment was the official installation of the new Leo board for the year 2025/26. The new leadership team was presented and officially pinned by the Lions dignitaries.

The newly appointed President, Senuth Dilnada, addressed the gathering and shared the vision for the upcoming year — emphasizing community service, leadership development, and collaboration. The president also extended gratitude to all supporters and mentors for their continuous guidance.

The Leo Club of IIT looks forward to a vibrant year ahead filled with meaningful service, impactful leadership, and continued growth. With a strong and passionate board at the helm, the club is ready to inspire change and uphold the true spirit of Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity.
